Soup with trout, potatoes and green peas

Fish can never be too much - especially in a light and tasty soup.

 1.30 l Water
 500 g Potatoes
 400 g Frozen green peas
 300 g Trout fillet (weight of fresh trout with all skin on, 500 g; if salmon, only 350 g)
 180 g Processed cheese "Dzintars Baltija"
 151 g Bell pepper (paprica)
 120 g Carrot
 92 g Onion
 19 g Garlic
 50 g Dill, parsley
 Salt, pepper and bay leaves
Directions

Boil the water in a pot and put in the potatoes, cut into small cubes.

Heat a pan, add a little water, put the trout in, put the lid on and simmer for ~20 minutes. Remove the trout, remove the skin and cut into pieces.

When the potatoes are slightly cooked, add the thinly sliced carrot, sliced peppers, green peas, garlic, salt and spices.

Cook until ready. When the vegetables are soft, add the processed cheese, trout and herbs. Bring everything to the boil again.
