Cereal purée soup with vegetables, ginger and chilli seeds

It's a slightly different soup, or should I say puree soup.

 1200 g Water
 250 g Cereal mix 'Yelli sup' or red lentils
 390 g Turnip or celery root
 290 g Tomato
 170 g Carrot
 80 g Onion
 35 g Ginger root
 12 g Garlic
 1 tsp. Mustard grains
 1 tsp. Cumin
 1 tsp. Coriander seeds
 1 tsp. Turmeric
 1 tsp. Chilli flakes
 Salt
Directions

Dice the turnip (or celery), carrots and tomatoes. Chop the onion and garlic. Grate the ginger.

Pour the water into the pot and add all the ingredients. Bring to the boil. Add the spices.

Turn off the heat to a low and simmer (~40 min) until ready.
