Split Pea Bread (Egg-Free)

Healthy, tasty, and protein-rich low-calorie bread.

Ingredients
 200 g Split peas (weight for dry peas). Instead of peas, you can use buckwheat, millet, or quinoa.
 125 g Water
 20 g Chia seeds
 20 g Extra virgin oil (I use pumpkin seed oil)
 20 g Apple cider vinegar (or lemon juice)
 ½ tsp. Baking powder
 20 g Psyllium (psyllium husk)
 Salt to taste, any spices of your choice

Soak the peas overnight.

The next day, rinse them, add water and all the other ingredients (except chia seeds) and blend until smooth.

Add the chia seeds, stir and pour into the baking tin.

Bake in an oven preheated to ~175 °C for ~35-40 minutes.

Remove, cover with a towel and allow to cool for at least 1 hour.
