Millet porridge with pumpkin and blackcurrants

Holidays are made for delicious morning porridge.

Millet porridge with pumpkin and blackcurrants
Servings1 Serving
CategoryDifficultyEasy
Ingredients
250 g Pumpkin (muscat pumpkin for me)
 120 g Blackcurrants (frozen)
 80 g Millet
 Vanilla
 Sweetener
 A pinch of salt
 Water as needed
Directions
1

First rinse the millet in three waters.

2

Peel the pumpkin, cut it into small pieces, and place it in a pot with the millet in boiling water. If the pumpkin is hard, boil it first. When it becomes soft, add the rinsed millet and a sweetener (or sugar) of your choice.

3

Cook until ready. At the end, squeeze the pumpkin with a potato stamp a little.

Add water as desired, depending on how thick you want the porridge.

4

Serve with currants cooked with sweetener.
