I put it in a pastry bag to make it easier to spread on the cake layers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"cooked-single-direction cooked-direction\" data-step=\"Step 6\">\n<div class=\"cooked-dir-content\">\n<p>Place a pastry ring on a plate and roll it out to a diameter of 18 cm.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"cooked-single-direction cooked-direction\" data-step=\"Step 7\">\n<div class=\"cooked-dir-content\">\n<p>Place a layer of potatoes and top with 60g of the blended mayonnaise. Smooth over.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"cooked-single-direction cooked-direction\" data-step=\"Step 8\">\n<div class=\"cooked-dir-content\">\n<p>Place the herring and 60 g mayonnaise on top of the potatoes. Smooth over.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"cooked-single-direction cooked-direction\" data-step=\"Step 9\">\n<div class=\"cooked-dir-content\">\n<p>Place the onions and 60 g mayonnaise on top of the herring. Smooth over.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"cooked-single-direction cooked-direction\" data-step=\"Step 10\">\n<div class=\"cooked-dir-content\">\n<p>Place the eggs and 60 g mayonnaise on top of the onions. Smooth over.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"cooked-single-direction cooked-direction\" data-step=\"Step 11\">\n<div class=\"cooked-dir-content\">\n<p>Place a layer of carrots on top of the eggs and 60 g mayonnaise. Smooth out and put the cake in the fridge.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"cooked-single-direction cooked-direction\" data-step=\"Step 12\">\n<div class=\"cooked-dir-content\">\n<p>Dissolve the gelatine in a bath of hot water (or microwave for 20 seconds) and add to the beetroot mixture.
